In Singapore, we have a factory of 40,000 square feet capable of fabrication of steel structure 500 tonnes per month, and 1000 Tonnes per month at our overseas Steel Fabrication Partner.
By utilizing Tekla X-Steel, a 3D-detailing software, we are able to present to our clients 3D models of their structural plans and automate the production of shop drawings for steel structure fabrication.
This comprehensive 3D modelling system encompasses built-in clashing, automated material listing, field bolt lists and three-dimensional mark plans. It is instrumental in ensuring quality fabricated structures with exceptional high levels of tolerance and near perfect fit.
In April 2006, we begin the erection of the world’s biggest ferry wheel. The Singapore Flyer weighs over 2,000 ton and with a height of 165m. On the 2nd of October 2007, we have successfully completed installing the last and/or 28th cabin of The Singapore Flyer. This is UTOC Engineering signature project!
